TR FISCHER grew up in Colorado. After moving to California and sampling life in San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles, she and her family moved back to the Denver area. That didn’t satisfy, so the suburbanites pulled up stakes and moved to the country where they began raising buffalo.
When she’s not writing, TR and her husband welcome guests to their ranch where they get to hand-feed buffalo from the safety of a hay wagon and learn the compelling history of the American Bison. She hikes as often as she can and enjoys making handmade greeting cards – a less complicated creative outlet. Every day is an adventure, on and off the page.
